The Sports Karma Network is all about observing karma in sports. What is "sports karma"? Sir Isaac Newton described the Natural Law: "for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction". In human behavior this natural law can be observed as, "The deeds of our past, foretell the events of our future." This is the essence of karma. Examples of bad and good karma are legendary in sports. "The Curse of The Bambino" is the most famous story of karma in sports. If we practice observing karma in sports, maybe we can make better choices in life to avoid bad karma and cause good karma. At least we can help each other to live better lives through education, responsibility, integrity, and ethics. Sports is the name. Karma is the game. Play smart, play fair, play responsibly, play to win? |
